2. Hosting and Delivery
This website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. When you open the website, technical connection data such as IP address, request time, browser information, requested files, and security-related log data may be processed by Cloudflare to provide, secure, and optimize the website.
3. Server Log Files
Like most websites, technical access data may be stored in server logs. This data is used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and reliable operation of the website. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
4. Local Processing in the Tools
ComicForge and the Watermark Tool process uploaded images, videos, and project data locally in your browser as far as the tool functionality is concerned. Your files are not intentionally sent to our servers, stored in a database, or reviewed by us.
Depending on your browser, some data may temporarily exist in your device memory, local browser storage, or download folder. You control these files on your own device.
5. External Fonts and Libraries
Fonts are hosted locally with this website and are not loaded from Google Fonts. The Watermark Tool loads one technical library (JSZip, used to create ZIP downloads) from cdnjs, a public content delivery network operated by Cloudflare. When this file is requested, your browser connects to cdnjs and may transmit technical data such as your IP address and browser information.
6. Cookies, Local Storage and Consent
We use a strictly necessary local storage entry to remember your cookie/consent choice (key oa_consent_v1, kept on your device for up to 12 months). This does not require consent under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / § 25(2) TTDSG, as it is essential to operate the consent banner itself.
Beyond this, we currently do not set analytics cookies, tracking pixels, newsletter tracking, or user account cookies on this website.
7. Google AdSense (advertising, only after your consent)
This website may display ads served by Google AdSense, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA). Ad scripts and any related cookies or device identifiers are only loaded after you actively grant consent to the "Advertising" category in our cookie banner ("Cookie settings" in the footer). If you decline or do not grant consent, no AdSense script is requested and no advertising cookies are set.
If you consent, Google may process personal data such as your IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions with ads to select and measure ads, and may combine this with data from other Google services depending on your Google account settings. This processing may involve data transfers to the United States and other countries outside the EEA; where this occurs, Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer safeguard.
